Katarina Stanić is a researcher/consultant at the Centre for Liberal Democratic Studies (CLDS). She has nine years of experience in economic research and consultancy with a focus on the pension analysis. She had also worked on other topics such as wage statistics, fiscal policy analysis, labour market and wage taxation.

Katarina is a Phd candidate in economics from Nottingham University (UK) specialising in the field of pensions system design and policy. She holds M.Sc from Nottingham University, UK (2003) and B.Sc from University of Belgrade, School of Economics (1999).

Her policy interest is currently focused on the pension system reform,  while includes overall social security system and fiscal policy in general.
Prior to joining CLDS in July 2009, Ms. Stanić worked on the USAID funded project Serbian Economic Growth Activity (SEGA). In the period 2001-2005 she was as a researcher at Economics Institute, Belgrade. She has also worked as a consultant for World Bank, UNDP, DIFID, etc.






Katarina Stanić je istraživač/konsultant u Centru za liberalno demokratske studije (CLDS). Ima devet godina iskustva u ekonomskim istraživanjima, najviše u analizi penzija i penzijskih sistema, ali je radila i na drugim temama kao što je statistika zarada, fiskalna analiza, tržište rada i oporezivanje zarada.

Doktorant je na Univerzitetu u Notingemu (Velika Britanija) gde specijalizira dizajn penzijskih sistema i penzijsku politiku. Magistrirala je ekonomiju na Univerzitetu u Notingemu 2002. godine, a diplomirala na Ekonomskom fakultetu u Beogradu 1999.

Njena profesionalna interesovanja su trenutno fokusirana na penzijske sisteme i penzijsku reformu, ali pored toga uključuju sistem socijalnog osiguranja u celini i druga fiskalna pitanja.
Pre dolaska u CLDS jula 2009. godine radila je na projektu Podrške ekonomskom razvoju Srbije (SEGA) koji finansira Američka agencija za međunarodni razvoj (USAID). U periodu 2001-2005 radila je kao istraživač u Ekonomskom institutu u Beogradu. Takođe je bila angažovana kao konsultant za Svetsku banku, UNDP, DIFID.
