The Round Table Excise Policy in Serbia was held on Tuesday, December 13th 2011. in Sava Center. The aim was to discuss the incumbent excise policy, as well as to highlight the path od necessary reforms, particularily having in mind the EU experiences and practises in this area. Alongside with domestic experts, this roundtable gathered the participants from the Ministry of Finace, the Fiscal Council and several business associations.
Education as a Strategic Investment The conference "Education as a strategic investment" was held on Febryary 14th 2009 in Sava Center, Belgrade. The introductory speeches were given by the Minister of Education Mr. Zarko Obradovic and leading foreign and domestic experts in the areas of education system reform and education financing. Introductory speeches were followed by the discussion.
Reforms in Serbia: Achievements and Challenges The round table "Reforms in Serbia: Achievements andChallenges" organized by CLDS and supported by World Banktook place at the Sava Centar, Belgrade, on September 20th, 2008. This round table gathered over sixty leading Serbian academics in the field, anlongside with Serbian Prmminister and Vice Primeminister of economy, Vicepreseident of the World bank, and over 120 other distinguiehed guests. CLDS presented its latest study on eight years of thransition in Serbia.
The «Reform of the Urban Land Finances» Round Table was held on July 27th 2006 at the premises of the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities, in order to discuss the findings of the recently finalized study «Reform of the Urban Land Finances». The participants at the cofnerence were representatives from many Serbian land directorates, representatives of local municipalities and the Government of Serbia.
The Future of Public Enterprizes in Serbia The Round Table organized by Center for Liberal Democratic Studies "The Future of Public Enterprizes in Serbia" gathered leading Serbian economists in the field. Keynote speakers were dr Nikola Zelić, dr Mirko
